69TH INDEPENDENCE DAY OF INDIA
SPECIAL ASSEMBLIES
The Primary Section, Afternoon Shift, of I.S.W.K. celebrated the 69th Independence Day of India with great joy and gusto. Irrespective of their caste, look and creed, the children of classes I - V celebrated this day on 13th August at school with great rejoicing.
The highlights of the celebration were a dance and the bringing to life of the freedom fighter of India by the students who were appropriately dressed. At the end the pledge was taken to defend our freedom.
The Indian tricolor was saluted followed by the national anthem. There was great enthusiasm among both the students and teachers who put up a splendid special assembly.
