ISWK quiz team gains winning momentum
The students of ISWK continued to keep the school flag flying high in the quizzing arena by winning various Interschool quiz competitions during the academic year 2014-15.
The victorious journey started when our ISWK team comprising of Ashley Titus & Chethan Sethu fought against tough competitors to to reach the First Runners up position in the most prominent quiz event of the country - Times of Oman Interschool quiz contest.
Much impressed by the performance of our team, the renowned Quizmaster - Giri Pickbrain was in full praise. He said “It was really nice to see newer teams emerge on the top. At the end of the day, Indian School Wadi Kabir missed out by a whisker. They were an outstanding team."
ISWK kept the footprint firm in the pathways of the Oman Quizzing arena by winning the Second Runners up position in the coveted National Quiz for Ambassadors cup. The audience was impressed by the in depth knowledge and spontaneity of our team members Ashley Titus, Rahul Rethnakar and Chethan Sethu
The ISWK quiz team comprising Ashwin Titus, Sabareenath M and Shanel Scaria proved their skills in logic and rapid thinking by winning the second position in the Senior Quiz Pot competition which was held in November 2014..
The triumphant journey continued when our two quizzers Sabareenath and Aarati S became the first prize winners of the Interschool Environmental Quiz held during the month of January 2015.
The ISWKians played strategically and took the right risks in the Junior Quiz pot competition held at Indian School Seeb. Ashley Titus, Rahul Rathnakara, Chethan Sethu & Anushka K stood first in this competition.
As success is the result of hard work, these victories were also the result of meticulous training rendered by the Quiz team teachers of ISWK, the training session given by the quiz experts and the hard work of students.
