ISWK KINDERGARTEN HOLDS ITS ANNUAL EXHIBITION WITH GREAT POMP!
The Kindergarten section of the Indian School Al Wadi Al Kabir held its Annual Exhibition on the 5th of March, 2015. It was an impressive demonstration of the ability of the tiny tots.
The honorable Chief Guest, Mrs. Asha Khimji graced the occasion with her presence. The inauguration followed by the lighting of the lamp by her, was a befitting start to the day’s proceedings.
The venue was beautifully adorned with bright and colourful displays of children’s work done throughout the year.
Varied activities based on Howard Gardner’s Multiple Intelligences, which had been conducted with a view to develop learning skills in children were show cased through appropriate medium.
The event turned the spot-light on the implementation of all the intelligences that reflected interesting presentations, thought-provoking demonstrations, eye-catching models to portray the eight dimensions by which the skills are developed and emphasizes that learning is for life.
Parents thronged in huge numbers and were able to grasp details as they strolled around the breath-taking creative exhibits. They were indeed stunned by the uniqueness of every child and the platform provided by the teachers to develop their challenging ideas, innovative approaches and creative thinking.
The parents greatly appreciated the work done throughout the year and were enthralled by the exhibits displayed.
