ROLE OF PARENTS / GUARDIANS:


                                            Parents/Guardians are aware of the fact that their help
                                             and co-operation are needed for the building of sound
                                               character in pupils. Their children must be made to
                                                realize that a well-ordered and disciplined way of life
                                                 is as important at home as in school. They are,
                                                 therefore, earnestly requested to see that the rules
                                                 of the school are strictly observed.
                                                 Parents/Guardians can play their important and
                                                 responsible roles by:

                                               •     developing in their children the habit of
                                             punctuality at school.

          •   ensuring that their children come neatly dressed to school.
          •   giving importance to preparation of lessons and completion of home work under parental guidance.

          •   persuading them to read the books issued to them.
          •   encouraging their children to take part in the activities of the school.
          •   signing all tests/examination papers, report cards etc., and entries made in their ward’s almanac,
             whether satisfactory or not.
          •   informing the Principal of their child’s absence for any reason, within a week.

          •   intimating the school of any change of address or telephone number.
          •   mentioning the Std., Section and G.R. No. of the child when communicating with the school.

          •   cooperating with school staff and traffic wardens on duty.
          •   avoiding interaction with students or teachers during school hours without the sanction of the
             authorities.

          •   keeping their children at home when infected by some contagious disease, till the danger of the
             infection  has  passed  (for  at  least  a  fortnight).

          •   ensuring that their children leave the school premises not later than fifteen minutes after the
             closure of school.

          •   visiting the Principal only on a working day, within the stipulated hours.
          •   obtaining the Principal’s permission before engaging the staff of the school for private tuition.
