Admission : 

1) Application for admission should be submitted on the prescribed form by parents who will be responsible to the Head of the school for the pupil's conduct, punctuality, regular attendance, academic performance and payment of fees. These forms are available at the School office.
2) A pupil must be at least three years old (as on 31st March of the school year) before he/she is admitted to the Lower K.G. No child who has not completed 5 years will be considered for admission to Class I. The age limit for admission to higher classes is correspondingly fixed.
3) A pupil may be given a written test in English, Mathematics and Hindi at the time of admission. The decision of the School authorities regarding the entrance test is final.
4) A pupil who joins the School in the Kindergarten and Class I must produce an official birth certificate, and / or a copy of the passport as evidence of the date of birth entered in the admission form and record of vaccination. Pupils of Class II and above must produce a transfer certificate from the school last attended, duly countersigned by the educational authorities of the area and a certificate of third language in the case of students for Classes VI and above.

Eligibility for admission to Grade XI
a) The applicant is required to choose one option from one of the streams. If the demand for a particular combination of subjects is not adequate, that combination will not be offered. There should be a minimum of 10 students offering a subject.
b) i) Applicants to the Science Stream from CBSE schools should obtain a minimum grade B@ in Science and Mathematics and C1 in rest of the subjects at the Class X examination.
ii) Students from ICSE Board of Delhi should have scored a minimum of 65% marks or grade equivalent similar to that of CBSE in Mathematics and Science, and 61% marks or equivalent grade in other academic subjects.
iii) Students passing from State Boards will be required to obtain a 71% marks and above or equivalent grade in Mathematics and Science, and 65% marks or equivalent grade in other academic subjects.
c) i) Students from CBSE and ICSE Boards opting for Mathematics or Computer Science in Commerce Stream should have secured a minimum B2 grade in Mathematics and Science and C1 grade in all other academic subjects.
ii) Students from other recognized Boards should have scored B2 grade (61% to 70% marks) in all academic subjects.
d) Applicants for Humanities Stream opting for Computer Science should have scored a minimum grade of B2 (61% to 70% marks) in Mathematics and Science and C1 grade (51% to 60% marks) in all other academic subjects.
e) Other aspects like behaviour / study habits, etc. will also be considered and the decision of the school authorities is final.
f) At the time of admission, the following certificates should be submitted
i) Transfer / School Leaving Certificate duly countersigned by the respective Board officials.
ii) Migration certificate
iii) Attested copy of the pass certificate
iv) Attested Passport copy of the student

Withdrawal
1) Parents should inform the School in writing at least one month in advance, of their intention to withdraw a pupil from the School or a month's fee is charged in lieu of notice.

2) A transfer certificate, or any other certificate is issued only if all school dues are paid and school property taken on loan, if any, is returned.

School Uniform:

Material:

  • For shirts & blouses : White material
  • For trousers & pinafores : Thai Toray - T, 508 grey, two tone suiting

It is very essential that only the approved material and shade are used. Shades other than approved ones will not be permitted. Therefore, purchase of the material is to be made from the approved suppliers only.

Uniform for boys:

  • grey shorts for Classes I - IV - Trousers (long pants)
  • white short - sleeved shirt
  • black belt
  • black leather shoes with laces
  • white socks (calf length)

Uniform for girls of Classes I to XII:

  • grey pinafore
    white short - sleeved blouse
  • bloomers
  • black leather shoes
  • white socks (calf length)
  • white ribbons

Pattern of the pinafore : Parents are requested to note the pattern. ONLY THE CORRECT PATTERN WILL BE PERMITTED TO SCHOOL.

a) The pinafore should be sufficiently broad from the shoulder to the waist and open on the sides.
b) The buttons of the shoulder and the waist should be punched buttons of the pinafore material.
c) The pinafore skirts should have eight box pleats, four in the front and four at the back.
d) The pleats should be sufficiently broad. Each pleat should have enough material tucked in to prevent it from opening when worn.
e) The pinafore should have a zip on the side of the waist where the button is fixed, with the pocket on the other side.
f) The waistband should be proportionate to the size of the pinafore.
g) The pleats should be stitched to 3" below the waist band.
h) The pinafore should be 1" below the knee.

P.T. UNIFORM:

Boys : Classes I to VI

  • white shorts
  • white short - sleeved shirt
  • white P.T. shoes
  • white socks (calf length)

Boys : Classes V to XI

  • white trousers (The pattern of the trousers should be the same as the school uniform trousers, but without loops and preferably with an elastic waistband at the back. Readymade baggy trousers will not be permitted).
  • white short - sleeved shirt with collar
  • white P.T. shoes
  • white socks (calf length)

Girls : Class III to XII

  • white divided skirt with box pleats
  • white short - sleeved blouse
  • white P.T. shoes
  • white socks (calf length)
  • white ribbons or a hair band. 

Pattern for Girls' Uniform :

a) The skirt should be made from white soft suiting.
b) It must have 8 box pleats, 4 in front and 4 behind.
c) Pleats must be stitched 3 inches from the waistband.
d) The skirt must be divided like trousers, but should fall like a skirt when worn.
e) The box pleats should have sufficient material tucked in, in order to give the skirt a proper fall.
f) It should be knee-length.
g) The pattern of the blouse should be like the school uniform blouse.
h) The sleeves must have a band and simple blouse collar.
i) The blouse should be sufficiently long.

Girls : Classes I & II

  • white shorts
  • white short - sleeved blouse
  • white P.T. shoes
  • white socks
  • white ribbons or a hair band
Examinations:
 
1. Kindergarten and Grades I to V do not have examinations. They are assessed progressively on the basis of their work throughout the year. Grades I to V will have frequent evaluation tests given by the teachers.
2. Students of classes IV and V are assessed every week on rotation, in one subject per week.  These assessments are normally conducted on Tuesdays or Wednesdays and intimation is given two days in advance through the school calendar.  Portion of syllabus covered in an assessment is not carried forward except in Languages and in Mathematics.
3. a) Grades VI to X will have two Formative Assessments and one Summative Assessment in each of the two terms as per the Comprehensive Continuous Evaluation (CCE) pattern of CBSE.  All the Scholastic and the Non-Scholastic areas will be evaluated.  So every activity should be take seriously.  Besides the subjects like Languages, Social Science, Mathematics, Science, Physical Health Education, Work Experience, Art Education, Computer Studies, a student is also assessed for Life Skills, Attitudes and Values, and participation in different co-curricular, outdoor activities.  Thus, the basic scheme of the CCE includes objective - based instruction, continuous evaluation, diagnostic testing and remedial instruction in all areas of learning.
b) Evaluation of Scholastic subjects will be done as per the format given below:

c) Formative assessments besides written assessments will include many areas of learning such as:-
i) Projects   ii) Surveys    iii) Observations     iv) Explorations
v) Experimentation   vi) Class/Home assignments   vii) Group discussions
viii) Seminars   ix) Quizzes
d) Assessments in September and March will be summative in nature.  They are carried out at the end of a course of learning.  They are graded tests marked according to a set of grades.
e) Grading system of Scholastic subjects:

4. There is no system of ranking pupils in class and no prize awarded for academic achievement till Grade V.
5. Students who miss an examination due to medical reasons must submit a medical certificate within tow days of the examination missed.  If not, the student will be considered absent without leave and will be awarded a zero.
Pupils using unfair means at an assessment will be awarded zero in that subject in that particular assessment.

 

Promotion rules:
1. The pass mark in a subject is 40% / Grade D. To be eligible for promotion to the next class, a pupil should, apart from fulfilling the conditions given below, ALSO APPEAR AT ALL ASSESSMENTS / REVISION TESTS and should have a minimum of 80% attendance.
2. Pupils of Kindergarten level would normally be promoted to the next class. However, those whose progress has not been satisfactory may be asked to repeat the class.
3. Pupils of Classes I, II & III would normally be promoted to the next class if their progress during the year in English, Mathematics and Hindi has been satisfactory.
4. Pupils of Grades IV & V will be promoted to the higher class, if they reach at least the ACCEPTABLE LEVEL of progress (Grade D) in English, Mathematics and Hindi.
5. Promotion of pupils of Grades VI - VIII  will be decided on the basis of all assessments done in the academic year. They should pass in English, Mathematics and a minimum of two more academic subjects. Students of Class VIII should, in addition, pass in the third language. 
6. Students of Grade IX should score the minimum Grade of D in each of the five scholastic subjects in order to be promoted to Grade X.  As per CBSE rules those who do not pass in the third language are not eligible to appear at the examination of Grade X.
In addition, pupils are assessed in Work Experience, Art Education, Physical & Health Education.
7. Pass Criteria for Grade X:
A candidate will be eligible to get the Pass Certificate of Grade X if:
a) he/she passes in all the subjects of internal assessment unless he/she is exempted, and
b) he/she obtains the minimum qualifying grade or D in all the five compulsory scholastic subjects as per CBSE norms.
8. Promotion Rules - Grade XI:
a) Grade XI will have two assessments, two unit tests and a final exam in all subjects.  Weightage given to the assessments is 20%, 20% and 40% respectively.  Each unit test will carry a weightage of 10%.  Subjects involving practicals will require pass marks separately in theory and practical.
b) A student is eligible for promotion to the next class on obtaining a minimum of 40% on aggregate in each subject and should have a minimum of 80% attendance.
c) Students should pass in subjects of internal assessment - general Studies, Work Experience and Physical Education.
d) A student should appear in all assessments and unit tests.
