1) Application for
admission should be submitted on the prescribed form by
parents who will be responsible to the Head of the
school for the pupil's conduct, punctuality, regular
attendance, academic performance and payment of fees.
These forms are available at the School office. 2) A
pupil must be at least three years old (as on 31st March of
the school year) before he/she is admitted to the Lower
K.G. No child who has not completed 5 years will be
considered for admission to Class I. The age limit for
admission to higher classes is correspondingly fixed. 3) A pupil may be given a written test in
English, Mathematics and Hindi at the time of admission.
The decision of the School authorities regarding the
entrance test is final. 4) A pupil who joins the
School in the Kindergarten and Class I must produce an
official birth certificate, and / or a copy of the
passport as evidence of the date of birth entered in the
admission form and record of vaccination. Pupils of
Class II and above must produce a transfer certificate
from the school last attended, duly countersigned by the
educational authorities of the area and a certificate of
third language in the case of students for Classes VI
and above.

for admission to Grade XI |
| a) |
The
applicant is required to choose one option
from one of the streams. If the demand for a
particular combination of subjects is not
adequate, that combination will not be
offered. There should be a minimum of 10
students offering a subject. |

i) |
Applicants
to the Science Stream from CBSE schools
should obtain a minimum grade B@ in Science
and Mathematics and C1 in rest of the subjects
at the Class X examination. |

Students
from ICSE Board of Delhi should have scored a
minimum of 65% marks or grade equivalent
similar to that of CBSE in Mathematics and
Science, and 61% marks or equivalent grade in
other academic subjects. |

iii) |
Students
passing from State Boards will be required to
obtain a 71% marks and above or equivalent
grade in Mathematics and Science, and 65%
marks or equivalent grade in other academic
subjects. |

i) |
Students
from CBSE and ICSE Boards opting for
Mathematics or Computer Science in Commerce
Stream should have secured a minimum B2
grade in Mathematics and Science and C1 grade
in all other academic subjects. |

ii) |
Students
from other recognized Boards should have
scored B2 grade (61% to 70% marks) in all
academic subjects. |
| d) |
Applicants
for Humanities Stream opting for Computer
Science should have scored a minimum grade of
B2 (61% to 70% marks) in Mathematics and
Science and C1 grade (51% to 60% marks) in all
other academic subjects. |
| e) |
Other
aspects like behaviour / study habits, etc.
will also be considered and the decision of
the school authorities is final. |

Withdrawal 1) Parents
should inform the School in writing at least one month

a) The pinafore should be
sufficiently broad from the shoulder to the waist and
open on the sides. b) The buttons of the shoulder and
the waist should be punched buttons of the pinafore
material. c) The pinafore skirts should have eight
box pleats, four in the front and four at the
back. d) The pleats should be sufficiently broad.
Each pleat should have enough material tucked in to
prevent it from opening when worn. e) The pinafore
should have a zip on the side of the waist where the
button is fixed, with the pocket on the other
side. f) The waistband should be proportionate to the
size of the pinafore. g) The pleats should be
stitched to 3" below the waist band. h) The pinafore
should be 1" below the knee.

Kindergarten and Grades I to V do not have examinations. They are assessed
progressively on the basis of their work throughout the
year. Grades I to V will have
frequent evaluation tests given by the teachers.

of classes IV and V are assessed every week on
rotation, in one subject per week. These
assessments are normally conducted on Tuesdays
or Wednesdays and intimation is given two days
in advance through the school calendar.
Portion of syllabus covered in an assessment
is not carried forward except in Languages and

VI to X will have two Formative Assessments
and one Summative Assessment in each of the
two terms as per the Comprehensive Continuous
Evaluation (CCE) pattern of CBSE. All
the Scholastic and the Non-Scholastic areas
will be evaluated. So every activity
should be take seriously. Besides the
subjects like Languages, Social Science,
Mathematics, Science, Physical Health
Education, Work Experience, Art Education,
Computer Studies, a student is also assessed
for Life Skills, Attitudes and Values, and
participation in different co-curricular,
outdoor activities. Thus, the basic
scheme of the CCE includes objective - based
instruction, continuous evaluation, diagnostic
testing and remedial instruction in all areas
of learning.

level would normally be promoted to the next class. However,

year. They should pass

pass in the third language.

of Grade IX should score the minimum Grade of
D in each of the five scholastic subjects in
order to be promoted to Grade X. As per
CBSE rules those who do not pass in the third
language are not eligible to appear at the

Pass Criteria for

practicals will require pass marks separately
in theory and practical. |

student is eligible for promotion to the next
class on obtaining a minimum of 40% on
aggregate in each subject and should have a
minimum of 80% attendance. |
