1) Application for
admission should be submitted on the prescribed form by
parents who will be responsible to the Head of the
school for the pupil's conduct, punctuality, regular
attendance, academic performance and payment of fees.
These forms are available at the School office. 2) A
pupil must be at least three years old (as on 31st March of
the school year) before he/she is admitted to the Lower
K.G. No child who has not completed 5 years will be
considered for admission to Class I. The age limit for
admission to higher classes is correspondingly fixed. 3) A pupil may be given a written test in
English, Mathematics and Hindi at the time of admission.
The decision of the School authorities regarding the
entrance test is final. 4) A pupil who joins the
School in the Kindergarten and Class I must produce an
official birth certificate, and / or a copy of the
passport as evidence of the date of birth entered in the
admission form and record of vaccination. Pupils of
Class II and above must produce a transfer certificate
from the school last attended, duly countersigned by the
educational authorities of the area and a certificate of
third language in the case of students for Classes VI
and above.
Eligibility for Class XI Science
stream: To be eligible for the Science
stream in class XI, students should obtain a minimum of
65% in Science and Mathematics separately (if opting for
Mathematics) and on the aggregate at the All Indian
Secondary School Examination of the C.B.S.E. The same
minimum marks will be applicable to students who pass
from the I.C.S.E. Board, New Delhi. Students passing
from a State Board will be required to obtain 70%on the
aggregate as well as in Science and Mathematics
separately. Eligibility for Class XI Commerce
stream: To be eligible for the Commerce
stream in Class XI, students should obtain a pass in the
All Indian Secondary School Examination of C.B.S.E. or
the I.C.S.E. Board, New Delhi or the State Board
Examinations. Applicants for the Commerce stream opting
for Mathematics should obtain similar marks as for
Science Stream(65% in Math) and a minimum 55% aggregate if Computer
Science is an option.
At the time of admission
the following certificates should be submitted. i)
Transfer certificate counter signed by the educational
authorities ii) Migration certificate
iii) Copies of the marks sheet and pass
certificate
Withdrawal 1) Parents
should inform the School in writing at least one month
in advance, of their intention to withdraw a pupil
from the School or a month's fee is charged in lieu of
notice.
2) A transfer certificate,
or any other certificate is issued only if all school
dues are paid and school property taken on loan, if any,
is returned.

a) The pinafore should be
sufficiently broad from the shoulder to the waist and
open on the sides. b) The buttons of the shoulder and
the waist should be punched buttons of the pinafore
material. c) The pinafore skirts should have eight
box pleats, four in the front and four at the
back. d) The pleats should be sufficiently broad.
Each pleat should have enough material tucked in to
prevent it from opening when worn. e) The pinafore
should have a zip on the side of the waist where the
button is fixed, with the pocket on the other
side. f) The waistband should be proportionate to the
size of the pinafore. g) The pleats should be
stitched to 3" below the waist band. h) The pinafore
should be 1" below the knee.

a) The skirt should be made
from white soft suiting. b) It must have 8 box
pleats, 4 in front and 4 behind. c) Pleats must be
stitched 3 inches from the waistband. d) The skirt must be
divided like trousers, but should fall like a skirt when
worn. e) The box pleats should have sufficient
material tucked in, in order to give the skirt a proper
fall. f) It should be knee-length. g) The pattern
of the blouse should be like the school uniform
blouse. h) The sleeves must have a band and simple
blouse collar. i) The blouse should be sufficiently
long.

1) Kindergarten and Classes I, II & III
do not have examinations. They are assessed
progressively on the basis of their work throughout the
year. However, they will have
frequent evaluation tests.
2) Classes IV and V do not
have a formal examination. Instead, students are assessed
every week in rotation, in one subject per week. These
assessments are normally held on Tuesdays or Wednesdays
and intimation will be given two days in advance via the
school calendar. The portion of syllabus covered in an
assessment is not carried forward except in Languages
and in Mathematics.
3) Classes VI and VII have
three assessments a year in academic subjects. The
weight for each assessment is as follows:
- 1st Assessment : 25%

5% weight per subject is
given to assignments. Each student is expected to do at
least one project per subject during the year.
4)
Class VIII will have three assessments in a year, with a
weight of 20%, 30% and 45% respectively. The second
and the third assessments will include the syllabus
covered after the previous assessments and 50% of what
was covered before them on a selective
basis.
They will also have one assignment per
annum in each subject with a weight of 5%, which will
also include regularity in homework and neatness in
work.
5) Class IX will have two assessments and a
final examination. Each of these will include the
syllabus covered from the beginning of the year. In
addition, there will also be periodic tests. The
relative value given to each of the above is :
- Periodic test: 10%
- 1st Assessment: 15%
- 2nd Assessment: 25%
- Final Examination: 50%
No marks will be mentioned
in the report; instead, a grade equivalent to marks, as
shown below, is given.

6) There will be no system
of ranking pupils in class and no prize will be awarded
for academics till Class IV.
7) Students who miss
an examination due to medical reasons must submit a
medical certificate within two days of the examination
missed. If not, the student will be awarded
zero.
Pupils using unfair means at an assessment
will be disqualified in all subjects.
1) The pass mark in a
subject is 40% (Grade E). To be eligible for promotion
to the next class, a pupil, apart from fulfilling the
conditions given below, SHOULD ALSO APPEAR AT ALL
ASSESSMENTS / REVISION TESTS and should have a minimum
of 80% attendance.
2) Pupils of Kindergarten
would normally be promoted to the next class. However,
those who are not ready to cope with grade I, may be
asked to repeat the class.
3) Pupils of Classes I, II
& III would normally be promoted to the next class
if their progress during the year in English,
Mathematics and Hindi has been satisfactory.
4) Pupils of Class IV will be promoted to the next class, if they reach at least
the ACCEPTABLE LEVEL of progress (Grade E - Minimum 40%)
in English, Mathematics and Hindi.
5) Promotion of pupils of
Classes V, VI & VII - will be decided on the
aggregate of grades of all assessments. They should pass
in English, Mathematics and a minimum of two more
academic subjects. They should also obtain 40% on the
aggregate. Students of Class VIII should, in addition,
pass in the third language. As per C.B.S.E. rules those
who do not pass in the third language are not eligible
to appear at the Board examinations for Class X.
6) To be promoted to Class
X, students of Class IX should obtain a pass grade in
non-academic subjects i.e. Work Experience, Art/Music
and Physical and Health Education, and should pass in
all five academic subjects.
7) Pass Criteria for Class
X:
- A candidate will be
eligible to get the Pass Certificate of the Board, if
he/she passes in all the subjects of internal
assessment unless exempted. Failing this, the
result of the external examination shall be withheld
but not for a period of more than one year.
- In order to be declared
as having passed the examination, a candidate should
obtain a pass in all the five subjects of external
examination. In the subject where the practical
examination is involved, separate pass in theory and
practical examinations as also in the aggregate of the
two will be obligatory.
